Smooth Setup and Reliable Performance

I recently implemented NinjaOne's Remote Monitoring and Management, along with their Service Desk and Ticketing System, for our small MSP. The ordering process was straightforward; I requested a demo first, then spoke with a sales rep to finalize the package. Delivery, or rather activation, was quick after the paperwork. Onboarding support was helpful, although some of the initial configuration documents could be more detailed. We've been using it for about two months now, and the platform has been stable. Remote Desktop connections are generally fast, and ticket creation flows well. One minor point: the mobile app could use a few more features for on-the-go management.

Good RMM functionality

Used the Remote Monitoring and Management. It worked as expected. Setup was quick enough. The performance was solid. No major issues to report, though the initial pricing discussion took a bit longer than I hoped.

Easy to set up

I recently tried out the Endpoint Management feature after getting a demo. It was pretty straightforward to get going, which was a relief. My team picked it up fast. The interface felt pretty intuitive for the most part. Just wish the reporting features were a bit more customizable right out of the box, but it handled what we needed for monitoring.

Good Value for Features

I was looking for a solid RMM solution that wouldn't break the bank for my small IT department. I decided to try NinjaOne after comparing a few platforms. Their annual billing discount really helped bring the cost down, which was a big plus for my budget. We opted for the Endpoint Management and Patch Management bundle. Setup took a bit longer than I expected, but the features we got for the price felt like a good deal in the end. It's definitely worth the investment if you're watching your spending.

Easy to get started with

So, we needed something to keep an eye on our client's computers, you know, patches and all that. My colleague suggested NinjaOne. We signed up for their free trial to check out the Patch Management. It was actually pretty simple to get going, didn't feel like I needed a whole IT degree to figure it out. The dashboard is clean. I wish the reporting was a tiny bit more intuitive, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, a good experience.

Solid platform, room for tweaks

We signed up for a yearly plan, mostly for the Patch Management and IT Asset Management. The platform is definitely robust and the automation has saved us a good chunk of time. Onboarding was smooth, and the support team was responsive when we had a few questions about setting up custom scripts. My main beef is that the mobile app for remote control could use some improvements; it's a bit clunky compared to the desktop version. Overall, good value for what we're paying, but that app experience is a small frustration point.

Consistent performance for us

This wasn't my first time with NinjaOne; we've been using them for about two years now, mainly for their Backup and Disaster Recovery and the integrated Ticketing System. This latest annual renewal went smoothly, as usual. The reliability has been really consistent across all our previous orders, which is why we keep coming back. Performance is always dependable, and the integration with our existing tools is still a big plus. I did notice the documentation for a new feature, Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, wasn't as detailed as I'd like, but we figured it out.

how does the pricing work for ninjaone? is it per tech or per endpoint?

S Sofia Green 2 weeks ago
It's per endpoint, which is usually pretty standard for RMM tools.

H Hannah Wright 1 week ago
From what I recall, it's per endpoint. They also have volume discounts, so the more endpoints you manage, the cheaper it gets per unit, kinda.

They definitely do a trial, but you might need to request a demo first. They usually walk you through it then offer the trial.

are there any promo codes floating around for ninjaone? trying to save a buck.

M Melissa W. 1 month ago
Nah, they don't really do public promo codes. Discounts usually come from talking to sales, like for annual billing or if you have a lot of endpoints.

Don't bother looking for coupon codes online. Your best bet is to request a demo and ask about discounts directly. They might give you something for an annual commitment or if you're a non-profit.

what payment methods do they take? just credit card or can i do invoices?

J Jeff N. 5 days ago
I pay with a credit card, but I'm pretty sure they can do invoicing for larger accounts or annual plans.

J Jason Smith 4 days ago
I think for larger deals they'll do invoicing. For smaller stuff or monthly, credit card is probably the main one.
